Grandpa and Grammy's New House

Well, Jack sure has a fun new place to visit! He loves his Grandpa and Grammy's beautiful new house. Not only do they have an awesome pool, they also have a pond; perfect for Jack! Although they are a little further away, we can't wait to go back. I know there will be many wonderful memories at their new home.

La Jolla!

We had a great time with Grammy and Grandpa on our trip to La Jolla! This year we decided to revive our annual tradition of ending the summer with our family and friends in La Jolla, one of our most favorite places. We loved watching Jack investigate the beach with his Grammy and Grandpa and play with new friends. The only thing missing was Aunt Tracy and Uncle Rob.

Thanks Grammy and Grandpa; what special memories!

Jack's First Hair Cut

Today Jack got his first hair cut! What an experience... only in Palos Verdes and with this generation of parents could you find a place called "First Cut" dedicated only to babies getting their first hair cut. Although Jack was a little squirmy, we all had a great time and he did great. Ray and I do have to say that we miss those curls and we can't wait for them to grow back.

The before shots. It was looking a little scruffy.

The during shots. Yes, Jack got to watch a flat screen of his choice of cartoons while sitting in an airplane.

The after shots. Complete with certificate, a balloon, and three lockets of hair (two for grandmas and one for mom). I think his favorite part was the balloon at the end!

My How Times Have Changed!

Over Labor Day weekend we went down to visit Aaron and Robbie and their new twins! It's crazy to think that just a few years ago these boy's hands were filled with beers and babes (meaning girls :), now it's bottles and babes! Such special times...

Fun Family Weekends

We have discovered a new favorite for Jack! He can't get enough of the fountain at the Metlox Center where he is undoubtedly soaked within the first five minutes we're there. Pure bliss for a one year old!
